In the posts on this website I write about the many options the world can use to move away from fossil fuels. I cover energy generation and efficiency both from technical and policy perspectives. I am an occasional investor in young companies with promising technologies. I was chair of Chargepoint Services, one of the UK's leading EV charging businesses, and am now on the Advisory Board of the $6bn Pictet Clean Energy fund. During the last three years I have written on hydrogen for CLSA, the Hong Kong-based investment bank.
